There is always a First

The episode finally went live on Spotify.

First reaction as I listened to the podcast?

I sounded like a duck, LOL!

I cringed at my own voice. I used too many filler words. I could have been more succinct in my responses.

Then I paused. And breathed.

It was my first time to be in a podcast. I had no time to prepare. I just recovered from bad cough (and occasionally still coughed – thankfully it was edited).

The content was good. I sounded more at ease as the minutes went by. Most importantly, I shared authentically. These words come from my heart.

I am really passionate in empowering the younger and upcoming female leaders.

There was a clear shift after the pause.

I took on a different lense. A gratitude lense.

Grateful for the opportunity.

Cheers to many more podcasts to come!
